When I go into system settings and click the switch to turn Voice Control on, its blue icon appears in the menubar. But if I run a Shortcut with the action “turn voice control on,” Voice Control is activated, but the icon doesn’t appear.
Same thing happens when you deactivate voice control. When you toggle it in system settings, the icon responds. When you toggle it with a shortcut, nothing happens regarding the icon.
I’d like to toggle VC with a keyboard command, but it’s not helpful when you can’t tell if it’s actually on or off before you act.
Can anyone reproduce this, or something weird in my system?
Are there any workarounds?
