I apologize if this has been covered here already, I just happened to stumble across it tonight and it seemed new to me. I haven’t used this but thought it would be of interest.

Features that caught my eye

  • Markdown notes are stored in the file system.
  • Imports from Evernote
  • Has Mac, Windows, and Linux clients
  • Supports syntax colored code blocks

Native sync and iOS apps are coming.

I used Notable for a while - until I stumbled upon Obsidian which could do just about everything and a whole lot more.

One day Obsidian will be able to do reliable iOS sync over iCloud.
