Notch apps for Macbook?

Does anybody have a favorite Notch app that works similar to Yoink, but resides in the notch? I tried Notchnook via Setapp, and I like the concept, but it is either buggy or not thought out well. I can drag files into the tray, but can’t drag them out— only copy or rename them (and sometimes it won’t even let me do that).

Dropover is similar to Yoink, but with additional features like support for the notch.

Thanks for the suggestion. Dropover is very polished. I tried it for a bit, and as best I can tell, the notch is a drop target when dragging a file, but then the dropped file shows up in a persistent, hovering window, as opposed to the file “residing” in the notch (to be dragged out later). But Dropover is tempting, given its other features.

Circling back on this — I installed the version of Notchnook (1.3) from the developer’s website, and drag and drop works fine. The Setapp version (1.27) is lagging behind, and is the one where I can’t drag items out of Notchnook.

Looks like you’re all set with Notchnook!

Maybe the ability to access a persistent shelf from the notch within Dropover is a feature that could be added in future versions for users wanting this functionality in addition to everything else it can do.
