- ⌃⌥N to toggle the note
- ⌘P to pin
- Loads the text from a file named Notchpad.txt in the selected folder and thus notes can stay in sync (just select a cloud folder).
Need to figure out how to package it for distribution…

I suspect that will be hard. Anyway, this little vibe code project is startling and cool. Thanks for sharing.
People seem to be making a plethora of little utility apps using vibe coding. You had this cool idea of using the cursor over the notch as a trigger. I don’t know whether this will begin a trend of making lots of clever little apps available because they are so “easy” to make or whether people will just create for their own use.
Is AI going to expand the app market with useful apps? Will AI flood the market with so many apps that it will making finding the useful ones even more difficult than it is now? Will it shrink the market because people can just make little apps for themselves that satisfy their own needs and therefore not be motivated to go find a third party solution? Will it put downward pressure on the $ value for little apps because it is “so easy” to make them?
Strange times.
I built this for myself, for now.

I doubt it. Not many have the time/patience/willingness to sit the entire day and keep prompting AI to build something when they can just buy the same for a one-time small amount like $5 (if an app exists already that does what they want).

Mac App Store?
Alternatively there are some new services that allow an easier time outside the store.
