Google’s NLM has an infographic generator in beta.
Now I don’t have to create a video presentation and framegrame the slides to get infographics.
The results have been awesome so far in my limited testing.
I found the key is to upload multiple source files, including smaller text files that focus on one aspect or topic that is going to be the subject of the infographic.
then, and this is key, include a detailed text prompt inside the commandline prompt window AFTER you invoke the infographic tool from the right hand menu of tools/outputs.
I’m working on an “explainer” thing about two ways to wire Ethernet cables. I won’t post all the source materials, but here is the short prompt I used inside the infographic and the great results I got:
Create an infographic showing side-by-side in a “this” versus “that” explainer, the wiring of RJ45 Ethernet using T568A versus T568B. Show only the modular jack with a small tail of the wire itself and emphasize the wiring of the pins inside the jack. Make the stripes on the colored wires thick enough to easily distinguish between the solid color wires.
