As you can see from the images, tracks 6 and 9 have gotten separated and created a new album with only 2 tracks. How can I add them back?

Sometimes this happens if the metadata associates the odd tracks with a guest artist. try se;ecting the Get Info for the album (three dots on the album cover image) and checking the Compilation box. You can do this for each track via Get Info, but the album get info option = less clicking.
I’ve never liked how iTunes/Apple Music treats albums for that reason. I usually turned them into playlists. I didn’t know about the Compilation box. That helps.
It’s a weird split for that album though. One of the tracks has Joh Hopkins on it but I guess he’s on the other track as well?
His daughter sings on a few of the tracks, but for some reason those aren’t split out?
It’s probably something weird in the meta data. Sometimes if yoe carefully compare the tracks, the error is visibe & editable/fixable
It’s a while since I used Apple Music, but try the following
+1 on the tips @geoffaire has mentioned.
Unfortunately my experience is that - even with those manual corrections - the issue can come back for some albums. I have no idea why but it looks as if Apple Music sometimes is syncing their faulty metadata back to my library even after I have corrected it manually. I have given up to be honest.
Right click on the track in Music (a.k.a. iTunes) and select “Get Info.” You get a form like this:
The form fields are editable, so go through and make sure this data for all album tracks matches - specifically fields 2, 3, 4 - and that the track number is correct. I don’t think the “composer” field mattered, but I’m not 100% sure. I’ve had similar issues with disassociated songs in the past from various causes. There may be other methods to fix, but that is what I did to get them all back together, and I haven’t had any problems since.
As I recall this is the method I used to correct this problem when I used Apple Music, except I selected all the tracks before selecting “Get Info”.
The info in the fields that were not the same on all songs had something different about them. Whatever it is was, was obvious. And corrected on all tracks at the same time by fixing that field(s)
You might also go to the Sorting tab and just enter the metadata for each “sort as” field.
