Opening and reading/writing sparse bundle on iOS?

I was just wondering if you could open and edit files in a Sparse Bundle from within iOS. Maybe with iOS 13? I’m thinking an encrypted sparse bundle containing sensitive date, at the moment, you can only do anything on a mac, but it would be very nice to be able to open said files from the sparse bundle on an iPad. Anyone with the iOS 13 beta looked into this?

I just tested this with the most recent iPad OS beta. I tested using encrypted sparse bundle and sparse image, as well a non-encrypted dmg. All of these failed.

thanks @neonate for checkin it out.
