Photo processing - plugged in and locked

Anyone concerned that their iPhone needs to stay plugged in and locked to process the curation of photos in iOS 13? I’m consciously trying to keep my phone plugged in more, which is ironic because the longer battery life of these new phones means I should be less worried about needing to be near a charger.

If I just do it overnight, it never seems to catch up. If it did, I’d expect that on some morning I’d take my phone off the charger, open Photos, click Days, and not see it processing anymore. Maybe it just has a lot to catch up on but this has been processing on an iPhone 11 Pro for a month!

99,000+ photos, 3900+ videos, and lots of still-to-process people and places data - it seems like the phone makes very little progress every night image|230x500
