Postcode Issue with Apple Store App

I have set my home address (including the postcode) as my default in the iOS Apple Store app. Yet every time I use it the postcode has been changed to that of the local Apple Store which is 4miles away but I want the goods delivered to my home. The first time this nonsense happened I did not notice that my order was going to my street address but the Apple Store’s postcode. The Royal Mail rely on postcodes so spent four days trying to deliver to Apple until someone with a little gumption realised the postcode was not correct.

Now everytime I use the app I have to make sure that MY postcode is on the order. I have set my postcode as default and yet time and time again the app substitutes the wrong code!!!

Is the address wrong in your iCloud profile as well? E.g. do you see the wrong postal code when you visit https://appleid.apple.com/account/manage/section/payment ? Just wondering if incorrect information is propagating from somewhere.

I see no postal address data in my iCloud profile. Indeed can’t see anywhere where my address is stored that has the local Apple Store’s postcode.

Apple Support may be able assist you.

Odd. Your iCloud address and your Apple Store address are supposed to sync, at least in the US. I agree with trying Apple support next.
