Prep for the new year: System Settings Review

I’m sure someone has recommended this before (maybe an MPU show on system settings?), but I’d like to suggest an end of the year System Settings review. Start at the top of System Settings and work your way through every setting. I decided to do this after I inadvertently discovered that my firewall was turned off. Didn’t know why or how long it was like that. So I wondered what other settings might be other than what I desire. I know this may take a while but it may be beneficial, especially with settings related to security. When I did this I found a subscription through Apple that I forgot to cancel; a bunch of notifications that I wanted to change; an app that I had to remove from full disk access; made a couple of changes with extensions. Just a thought. Cheers. :tumbler_glass:

Not a bad idea. And I would add that you might want to check your settings after installing updates. Optimize Mac Storage is one setting that frequently gets turned on.

Now that you mention it, I have seen that happen.
