Searching one’s takeout folders in DevonThink is pretty sweet.

I have takeouts scheduled to create downloads of mail, calendar, contacts, notes, Docs, and Sheets, once a month. Regular files, PDFs, etc are constantly synced and backed up by my Mac.
How are you automating the takeout? I usually have to go to the portal to download it.
Just log into takeout.google.com, select the data that you want to export, then select the frequency you want it downloaded.
I select “every 2 months for a year”. Then do the same thing one month later so I get an export every month. You will get an email when they start the export, and another when it is ready.
