Today I read a blog post about little-known features of Todoist and was pleasantly surprised by this one: “Within Todoist Settings, an iCal URL is provided. Simply paste this as a new calendar” and scheduled tasks appear in that subscribed calendar as all-day events. Previously I’d established 2-way sync between timed/dated Todoist tasks so they’d appear and be editable in the calendar’s timeline (with changes made in the calendar to Todoist tasks synced back immediately to Todoist).
With this feature, however, I can now see all my untimed tasks for all days (including all recurring tasks) without having to go into Todoist itself.
Inside the calendar they’re viewable only, not editable or deletable, but since I spend so much time in my calendar having this information duplicated there is pretty nice.
