I’m in the USA and ready to upgrade both of my SE 2020 128GB iPhones. I’m interested in finding 128GB SE 2022 models as replacements—the bump in performance will be enjoyable! I recently tried the iPhone 16E, but it’s not the best fit for me.
As I’ve been shopping on Swappa, Gazelle, eBay, and Craigslist, I’ve noticed that many listings mention new batteries, which I understand are often third-party replacements with a shorter lifespan and potential issues.
I’d love to hear your recommendations! What are your go-to sources or strategies for finding quality SE 2022s? I truly appreciate any insights you can share—thank you in advance!
Best Buy open box, maybe. You can get 5-10% off the price of a new SE with hardly any battery use.
I’m still seeing new SEs offered at Target & Walmart. I’d try there, and talk to whomever your phone service provider is.

Thank you all for your guidance. I checked Target and Walmart but couldn’t find what I was looking for from those vendors. I had forgotten about Open Box @cornchip!
However, I did come across what appears to be a well-established reseller on eBay. One of their phones arrived today, and at first glance, it seems to be in excellent condition both cosmetically and functionally. I also managed to find a 128GB model, as 64GB versions seem to be the most commonly available.
