Recommendations for wall paper with information?

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have any recommendations for any type of information panel overlay for the desktop? I like the idea of Dakboard and having an always-available information screen (see here https://dakboard.com/site) but I don’t need a full separate screen.

The only thing I know of is GeekTool.
It’s certainly not as fancy as DAKboard.

Geektool and Übersicht are 2 tools that you can use . Geektool is a little easier to use
