Title says it all. The sections in the Groceries reminders take up room and are meant for people who don’t shop very often. I know where items are in my grocery stores, and the plural on that is important: different stores have items in different sections, so the sections are pretty useless.

Under show list info maybe try changing the list type from “groceries” to “standard” to turn off the automatic sorting of items into groceries sections?

Thanks. This works. Unintuitively, you have to clear all items, even if you have nothing in the list, to clear all the sections out as well. If you do not, then suddenly all those sections appear. (If you use the groceries setting, then sections only appear as an item within them gets added to the list.)
It took me a while to discover that particular sequence. Here’s hoping that this thread helps others out, too!
