Safari Extension to Replace BBC iPlayer Controls

I find the BBC iPlayer video controls annoying. Does anyone have any suggestions for Safari Extensions that might replace the custom player with native controls?
I have tried:

  • StopTheMadness Pro
  • Baking Soda

StopTheMadness does the trick for me everywhere else… but with iPlayer it only adds them behind the iPlayer custom controls.

You can copy the URL into Iina and play the video, although I recognise it would not be played inside the browser - but a pretty easy solution.

I’d reach out to the Baking Soda developer. It might be something they can fix.
