Safari "tinting" in macOS 26 Tahoe, anyone know how to turn it off?

Firstly I know it’s a beta, no one should run a first dev beta…etc etc.

Just checking if anyone knows how to turn off the new Safari window colour tinting in Tahoe. We had the same issue with Safari beta on iOS previously, and they had a setting to disable window tinting.

Currently with Dev Beta 1, because of the tinting to match my Home Screen I can’t see the words I type into the address bar when I’m on the Home Screen.

And with the wrong colour web site match, all of my favs are illegible.

Yes I have reported it - FB17977169

On my test system, this new liquid glass tinting doesn’t seem to be working at all! Everything is as opaque as it was under Sequoia (exception: menu bar is transparent which breaks Bartender!).

I have read about people turning on Reduce Transparency in System Settings → Accessibility → Display.
