Hi, everyone. What are your thoughts/tips on CRMs in 2025? Getting data in, working with iOS, MacOS, etc? Are you managing sales email in the CRM?
I love the power of Hubspot, but it seems a bit overwhelming. I like the idea of being able to expand to marketing hub, etc in the future. Texting is a third-party add-on unless you do marketing hub pro.
On the other hand, Close CRM is super simple and is pretty lightweight. The iOS app is a bit buggy. However, they did get my SMS number approved super quickly.
CRM is a very, very broad topic. Will this be for personal use - that is only one user? As a single user I’m currently using Clay, which does a good job on integrating to channels on the iPhone, etc. Dex is also excellent for personal use, and they’ve recently rolled out a more powerful Rolodex for teams use.
But, I’m also not looking to sell or market, rather keep my personal notes, establish a web of relationships, and get timely reminders ahead of meetings or when I should get back in touch with people.
All of this can be done in Obsidian, but the amount of constant tweaking isn’t worth the reward, frankly
I’m just getting acquainted with Bigin. If you have <500 records it is free and pretty reasonably priced for more stuff. I like it so far but haven’t gotten very deep into it yet.
