Save my Stream Deck

I’m glad to see this bumped! I’m in a completely different job now, in an office, and I just saw my stream deck the other day (in a drawer) and thought, “I can’t believe I could never make that work for me.”

I’m using slack all the time now, ChatGPT and grok regularly, zoom, tab groups, apple reminders, notes…surely I can revive the thing with more success?!?!

Some more ideas:
You can display your computers CPU activity, and your local weather on a button.Buttons are a convenient place to access Apple Shortcuts. You can use buttons to turn lights on and off if you have the proper setup. You can make profiles for apps that have the functions of that app assigned to buttons. There are commercially available profiles for apps like Lightroom and Photoshop. Go to the Stream Deck Market Place for more ideas.

I have, for example, on my Streamdeck a setting for every Tabgroup I use within Safari, so I could send a Website with a Button into the right Tabgroup.

Can you share how you accomplish this one? That’s interesting to me!

I have a setting for Mail, where I could mark, and delete, all Mails within a group (Spam). I use this 5-6 times a Day.

This one as well. The number of times I multi-select, click to mark as read, then delete, then confirm delete…

Other thoughts I’ve had that I’m curious if anyone does the same:

• SONOS - control volume of group
• Reminders: open a window to create a new task that is already assigned a specific list and priority (could be done through Fantastical?)
• Notes / Notion - Opens a search box to find a specific note quickly (or link to a specific note)
