Save text messages

Is there a way to save text messages from your iPhone to your iMac?

Apparently you have to do screen captures on the iPhone and copy those to the Mac.
Of course if its an iMessage rather than SMS message you can just open up Messages.app on the Mac and copy/paste the thread anywhere.

You do know that you can send/receive (and sync) all iMessages on the Mac, yes?

(You can also use iMazing to retain and archive Messages.)

Yes, use iMazing

DO a backup on iMazing, then you can save and print entire conversations and it captures all text messags not just imessages

Thanks for suggesting imazing @bowline. I utilize my iPhone to text with my team at work, and having copies of some conversations is important.
