Screen burn, internal marking or similar?

Hi guys,

I’m hoping someone can give me a quick, reliable opinion on this…I know I am dealing with internal dirt/marking or screen burn or something else similar…but is there anything I can do that prevents me taking my Mac apart or taking it to Apple? Bottom-left ish if you are struggling to see the problem…

I’d definitely log a call with Apple (I know you said not including taking it in). It may be a defect.

Was wondering if any software dealt with screen burn???

Screenburn is a hardware issue. So whilst software can work to try and stop it happening, or getting worse, it can’t fix it if it’s already happened.
