Screen Sharing ... on a laptop with 2 remote monitors? Hint!

A helpful, though niche, hint:

Context:
→ If you Screen Share into a Mac with two displays, and,
→ find it annoying having to deal with two screens in one window, or,
→ you’re constantly switching between the two remote screens,
→ try this:

Use Raycast (or, I guess, even a Shortcut/script) to quickly toggle the Display Mirroring settings on / off for the remote Mac.

I found a “Toggle Mirror Displays” extension in the Raycast store that makes this a one-command fix.

It makes the remote Mac show as a single, clear screen.

Much easier than fiddling with views!

FYI, Some remote screen sharing apps, like JumpDesktop, have settings and commands built in for directly controlling how a remote Mac with multiple physical displays is handled.

I’ve set up different ‘connectoid’ profiles in JumpDesktop to handle different resolutions and methods of connections (e.g. if I am remote connecting FROM a small laptop screen versus a large desktop I want to connect at different resolution and settings).

Even better! Especially since I already own JumpDesktop. Thanks Robert.
