I am trying to get screenshots of the 2-Set Korean keyboard viewer using the macOS shortcut keys. The normal keyboard layout is okay to grab using Cmd-Shift-4 (starting slightly outside the keyboard viewer’s area) but not for the shifted characters. The Caps Lock key switches me between English and Korean but holding down that key switches the viewer (and input source) back to English.

Is there a way to get just the keyboard viewer without taking a screenshot of the entire screen?

It’s been a while since I used the built-in screen capture capability, but many third party ones offer a timer delay before capture. That can often help with things that change when you press keys.
