Thought this might be of interest. I bought what is essentially an SD card, but is billed as a drive to go in the SD card slot of my 2015 rMBP. After poor performance that didn’t meet their claims (Max Read: 95MB/s, Max Write: 60MB/s)[1], I benchmarked different filesystems on it. Pretty remarkable differences. Only one trial per FS, so not rigorous, but interesting.
Edit: another fun fact: copied an 84GB folder to the JetDrive (twice), and only 44GB copied. No errors, no warnings. Back in the box you go.
