Seeking thunderbolt connected wireless mouse?

For several years we’ve used logitech M 310s for our lap tops. They are not Bluetooth which we favor. Instead they have a small receiver which connects to a USB A socket. We found this to be incrementally more stable.

The new MacBook pros only have thunderbolt inputs for such a peripheral. We have not yet identified a solution. What recommendations do you have for mice like our M310 which would be compatible with the new Apple laptops?

Thunderbolt connected wireless mouse?

I would just get a USB-C-to-USB-A adapter. Apple sells one, and there are other vendors who make shorter ones that look more elegant.

Like @cornchip said get a USB-A adapter or a hub / dock.
That’s what I do for my Logi MX3 master

Or tinker one yourself:

How long ago did you test bluetooth mouses? Bluetooth has come quite a long way in recent years. I jumped on the bandwagon ~15 years ago and then promptly got off again and have only really got back into it in a big way since 2020. It is now much more useful than it ever was beforehand, and works with fewer hiccups. Note that I’m not saying it’s perfect, but I would consider it superior to having a dongle attached just in order to use a mouse.

I keep a box or two of these around: https://www.amazon.com/Syntech-Adapter-Thunderbolt-Compatible-MacBook/dp/B07CVX3516/
