Selling items on the forum

Is it acceptable to sell things on the forum? I don’t see anything that says not to, but I didn’t see any sale listings either.

This is from the Forum’s FAQ: Things are not to be listed for sale in the Forum, nor should you use affiliate links to Amazon, etc. when sharing products.
