BundleHunt is back. Pay $5 fee for access-unlock at checkout, and select Mac apps at significant savings.

Lots of apps I can recommend there, including iMazing, Waltr, Softorino video downloader. (Also a couple of turkeys, like Hyper Plan, possibly the clunkiest, least Mac-like Mac app I’ve seen/bought in years.)

Limited time offer: Sam’s Club is offering their Sam’s Club Members a $200 Sam’s Club Gift Card when preordering & activating any new iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro or iPhone 11 Pro Max by September 15, 2019

New 5.0 version of PDFpen for iOS is $4.99 for a limited time. Since PDF Expert is now a subscription, this is a nice alternative.

Something’s gone weird - the app does not appear in searches in the iOS App Store right now. I searched for ‘pdfpen’ and the first results were a GoodReader advert, followed by PDF Expert, Microsoft Word(!), PDF Views and Foxit PDF Reader Mobile. When typing ‘pdfpen’ the App Store helpfully suggests “pdfpen 5 - pdf editor” and when I tap/choose that only a single result comes up: an advert for PDF Scanner.

Keep in mind that version 5 requires iOS 13. If you’re searching the App Store on a device running iOS 12 it’s not going to appear.

Ah, that explains it. No way I’m going to iOS 13 yet. Waiting for 13.1.1 at the very least.

Yes, I clicked the link from the webpage above and got the notice from the app store that it’s only available on iOS13.

Indeed! I used to wait for a Friends deal. The cheapest I could find is one season for US$9.99… and I bought two seasons. Now, it’s US$29.99 for the whole complete series! BUY BUY BUY!

If I already have PDF Expert 6 before the subscription, would Pdfpen have anything to offer?

If you purchased PDF Expert 6 and thus have all the functionality of PDF Expert 7, without the new PRO features, PDFpen brings not much to the table. However, it will be probably updated with new features for free.

FineScanner Pro for iOS and iPadOS is $28.99 (down from $59.99). Best OCR there is and the app is great as well

Today only Amazon-owned Woot has a refurbed iPhone 7 Plus (CDMA/GSM, unlocked) with 128Gb storage for $359.99. That’s just $60 more than a similarly-configured iPod Touch, which has the same processor, but the phone has a better, higher-res screen and better cameras… and it can be used as a phone! If I were considering an iPod Touch I’d get this instead.

(Comes with a 90-day warranty (double that with the right credit card) with an optional 1-yr 3rd-party warranty for $56)

Anyone considering the new Eeros from Amazon just released this wee? Looks like they are only dual band, vs the “old” Eero that are tri-band, but the price is quite a bit lower for a 3 pack. I’m tempted

I am considering Audio Hijack and Fision as two software to record podcast. Does anyone know if these software runs sales?
