I am about to move a bunch of clients to a new mail server. Since my clients aren’t very tech savvy, it would be nice to have some kind of Script that creates the Mail account for them, only assigning the account (email address) and password.
A quick search didn’t find any such thing.
Do you guys have any suggestions?
Before I retired I used the Apple Configurator to create a profile that set up email for one of our executives. She was on a trip and had accidentally deleted her work account. I emailed her the profile and after she installed it she was back in business. As I recall she had to agree to install the profile because it was unsigned. This occurred at least seven years ago so a lot might have changed.
The Apple configurator can be downloaded from the Mac App Store
