Setting up a new phone

I want to set up my phone as new (re: Screentime not working due to a passcode I don’t remember).

What should I be aware of when setting up my phone as new? I haven’t done this in ages.

If you do not have Messages in iCloud enabled, you’ll lose your entire message history.

Unless you have a third-party application that has the data (like a combination of Withings and MyFitnessPal and a sleep app) that can re-write your health data to the Health app, if you aren’t syncing health with iCloud that will all be toast too.

Other than that, just the usual chore of tweaking your settings, installing the necessary apps by hand, and of course, many, many password dialogues.
