Shortcut to Set Playback Destination

On my iPhone, one thing that I don’t like having to do is changing the audio output. I have to swipe down from the top of the home screen, then in the audio pane, click on the little icon at the top right to allow me to see the audio output options.

So, I decided to take a look if I could do something in Shortcuts. Lo and behold, there is an item for ‘Set playback destination to.’ I have it set to ‘Ask Each Time.’ When it runs, it defaults to Phone so if I want to switch to my AirPods, I have to click on Phone and then select AirPods.

I’m wondering if there is a way to show my all my options (e.g. Phone, AirPods, HomePod) as soon as the Shortcut opens instead of having to click to see the options.

Thanks for any help.

Paul

Understood. Thanks.

If I have multiple speaker options and want to choose one, I wanted to make it easier on myself then having to swipe down to go to the control center.

Thanks. Much appreciated.
