Is it possible to write a shortcut to connect or disconnect a specific Bluetooth device to my iPhone? I use a Jabra speaker phone at my desk. Right now I need to remember to disconnect it when I move just outside my office with the phone. Otherwise, when I answer a call outside but in the vicinity of my office it goes through my speakerphone.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I’ve not tried it, but this gentleman attempts a similar action with an Applescript and a Keyboard Maestro hot key in his rather long but detailed youtube video. Use Keyboard Maestro to Connect Bluetooth Devices to Your Mac - YouTube
I have a few things setup to do the same.
This is what you need in your shortcut.
For next level, you can setup location or time based triggers to run the shortcut.
I actually have a “menu” that helps me to choose the right audio output, triggered by the back tap accessibility shortcut (double tap the back of iPhone). This lets me choose from a menu of options, that each set specific audio output, volume level, app and play pause. Example:
