I do lots of live training and recorded videos on how to do things on a Mac for my team. I’d like to have the key strokes show on screen when live and recording. Can anyone recommend a good app for this? I’ve seen this so far.

The app you referenced (Keystroke Pro) is a great choice. The developer, Martin Lexow, also has an app called Cursor Pro for highlighting the mouse pointer.

Thanks. I’ll buy that one.

@Richallum have you checked KeyScreen app? This app gives you way more customization than others. A few of the features that sets this apart are:
- Full customization on the keys shown
- Default and custom themes for the keys
- Support for different keyboard layouts, not just QWERTY
- Handles multiple displays seemlessly
This doesn’t show keys pressed with just Shift unlike many other apps. This results in showing the keys that matter and not showing unnecessary key presses that you do for changing the letter case.
Another feature that’s in the works is to only show/hide keystrokes when a particular app is active.
I am the developer of this app so I’m happy to answer any questions.
