I have a few Siri Shortcuts that use a text field to hold a Markdown template used to generate a Ulysses sheet. When I run the shortcut to generate the template, all the Markdown characters are escaped. I haven’t been able to quite figure out how to fix it. Has anyone run into this before or know how to fix it?
Would it be possible to post an example shortcut? It would help for troubleshooting.

I wonder if it is the use of Markdown XL commands (ie ++). Other Markdown formatting (eg, *, ##, >) works fine. The Ulysses shortcut action must not be interpreting the Markdown XL.
