I upgraded to the Orbi more than a year ago based on The Wirecutter’s recommendation and it works phenomenally well overall. We get a strong signal throughout the house and have a Plex server running on a Nvidia Shield that works very well.
However, I have noticed that file transfers on the network (from my Mac to a hard drive attached to the Shield) are dog slow. I was wondering why that is given that everything else works so well. Is there anything I can do to improve the file transfer speeds? Thanks to whoever helps out.
