I have an iPhone 13 Pro which came preinstalled with iOS 15. But today in Software Update it is asking me if I want to install iOS 15. I searched around and see that the 15.1 update is still in beta. So what could this update be?
I saw other people complaining about this on Twitter.
Maybe the pre-installed build is older than the final release (build 19A346)?

It is a bugfix update that was released on launch day. It is just for the new iPhones and the new iPads.

That explains it, thanks. I’ll just wait for 15.1 since I wasn’t impacted by either bug.
That’s poor. It should be release 15.0.1 then
