StageManger IPad - here’s one use

I’ve just discovered 1 use for stage manager.

It allows me to shrink the size of the kindle app so that it is easier to read on my iPad Pro.

  • I know there are other uses, but this one surprised me.
  • unfortunately, iPadOS does choose to resize the window whenever I switch to a different stage then back again. I’m guessing that’s a bug that will be ironed out soon enough.

Does iPadOS only do this when you switch stages and are in portrait mode? Because I’m not able to reproduce this on my end – which may be good news about whether this was a bug that was squashed.

Good question …

I just checked and it looks like the same thing is happening in portrait and landscape mode.

It’s not the end of the world, and very easy to resize.
