Standby charging overnight; long term safe for iPhone battery?

I really love Standby mode for my iPhone at night.
But, my phone’s charge lasts for a long time, and most of the time, I do not really need to charge it overnight.
Question: will wireless charging overnight be damaging long term to a battery that is not low?

I’m using a little folding stand from ESR, if that makes any difference.

TIA

If you’re setting it on the stand every night, it should learn the pattern and prevent itself from overcharging. The phone will not let your wireless charger activate when the phone wants to hover at 80% battery to optimize the charge.

As long as optimized charging is happening, charging a smaller range every night should be as good or better for your battery than doing a big charge to 100% every 2-3 days.
