Still on iOS 16 - how stable is 17?

Even old ones; day zero errors are potentially the most compromising.

I see nothing irresistible in the new releases so I am sticking with Ventura on M1 MacBook Air and iOS 16 on iPhone XS. Not so long ago Ventura and iOS16 were the “new hotness” and it seems silly to kick them to the curb just when they are as solid as they’ve ever been.

Same question a few weeks later…

How are things over on 17.2?

An iPad Pro is my primary computer and I’ve found iPadOS/iOS 17 to be very stable. But with any operating system things can change depending how I use the device and the patches the developer (Apple) releases.

I don’t think an average user will have any problems. Someone who is always pushing the boundaries, like Federico Viticci, might have a different opinion.

It’s been fine for me. I waited until 17.1 but have since kept up with the latest releases, and I installed 17.2.1 last night.

Updating…

It’s time. X.2 is usually where I start, so 17.2.1 should be fine
