Any tips for booting into Safe Mode?
My iMac Pro completely ignores the shift key. I even tried an Apple-brand keyboard.

Do you have a Firmware password? If so it won’t boot into Safe Mode, IIRC.

Depending on the changes you make, Monterey will send you back to this screen when you invoke System Preferences > Erase All Content and Settings.
