On the iPad, is there a way to temporarily disable the gesture that slides the dock up from the bottom of the screen while in-app? I tried turning off “Allow multiple apps”, didn’t help.
Would Guided Access Mode do it?

Out of curiosity, what is the common accessibility use case for Guided Access Mode?
I think it’s supposedly so people you normally wouldn’t trust (children, people with a motor function problem) are able to do something limited on the device without you worrying. I suppose that falls under accessibility if you otherwise wouldn’t hand them your iPad.
I only know about it because we use it for trade shows sometimes.
