Hi folks,
I am finding that for some strange reason the Text to Speech option that I have enjoyed for many years has become non-functional all by itself and i can’t figure out either why Nor how to correct it and make it work again without having to reset the Mac.
Just wondering whether any of you have also had this issue as well?
You turn it on via the Accessibility settings via System Preferences. one on you can reset the shortcut key but it’s set to Option+esc at the moment.
…and Yes I have checked whether other sounds are able to play whilst this is selected, but alas it seems they do. I’ve even intervened and changed the shortcut but that also has no effect.
Just wondering whether this is happening or has happened to anyone else.
