My iPhone (literally) took a 59 minute spin in my washing machine.
Reminded me of that horror movie scene when they realise the phone call is coming from inside the house.
Except it was the find my alert.
Coming from inside the washing machine.
Phone still works.
Smells nicer too.
I would have been devastated. Glad the suds didn’t answer the call.
Glad it’s still working!

I amazed it’s still working.
That’s one way to wipe your phone for trade-in.
I don’t know if this is better or worse than realizing the “find my” alert noise is coming from your back pocket…
(I spent a good 5 minutes wandering from room to room before that)
Did you throw it in the dryer afterwards?
Btw, I have a 15 Pro Max, too, and the Find My on it in combination with the AW 9 is vastly improved over previous versions.
It’s so hard to be a human nowadays.
Back in December 2019, many of the batteries in our smoke detectors died, and they started beeping – all of them at once.
I found out that the human ear is not capable of locating the source of a high frequency beep. 
Took me days to figure out where the last one was.
