The "Secret Launcher"

I am probably the only one on this forum who was unaware of this feature but on the off hand chance that at least one other person is not aware of it; I thought I would share it.

There’s an easy way to pin apps and launch them right from the toolbar in Finder: Just drag an app to the toolbar in Finder and it’ll be pinned there for easy access.

To unpin apps from the toolbar in Finder, just drag and drop them elsewhere.

I can’t think of a good practical use yet, but adding icons is quite satisfying. :slight_smile:

Is there a way to have the currently viewed path passed into the application on the toolbar, e.g., to open the current folder in Sublime?

By the way, you can also pin other files to the toolbar. Not just apps!
