[Tip] Big Sur video playback is super fast

Occasionally, videos on different sites (YouTube, embedded, etc.) will play hyper fast - like a 5 minute video in a second.
I ran across a tip somewhere that mentioned it could be related to an audio process called coreaudiod, and turns out it was, in my case.
So now I run Activity Monitor, search for coreaudiod, select it and click the X to kill it. It restarts immediately, and the playback problem goes away for a week or two. You could also do this from Terminal using the command sudo killall coreaudiod .

in beta or stable is the issue present?

This is Big Sur, not Monterey, so it’s just the regular version.
