To add a "green point" to an arrow

In Keynote, to add an arrow from, for example, one text box to another, we can use either

  • a normal arrow
  • or a connection line and then to make one of its heads to be an arrow

(the second and third shapes on my screenshot respectively).

Notice the connection line is automatically connected to any text box nearby, whereas normal arrow doesn’t. And also notice connection line have a greed “dot” in its middle, which means you can freely adjust its curvature.

Okay, and now my question. How can I add this “green point” to a normal arrow? That’s it.

Once you have an arrow on your slide, select it and right-click; then select 'Make Editable". Will add a red dot - I think it behaves similar to the green dot.

Yes, I know this trick. This is not the same.

Is there a reason you want it to be green and not red?

You can get close by turning the middle and both end points of the normal arrow into Bezier points.

This arrow doesn’t connect to objects. You want an arrow that looks like a connector but doesn’t connect. Would not connecting the connector to any shape serve the same purpose?
