Has anybody tried to use the Robot with both a work and personal Claude account, logging out of one and into the other, to segregate your data? I’m wondering if Projects would be the way to go— when starting a project, you tell it which folders it can access, so you could point Claude to different folders (such as within your Obsidian or NotePlan directory) for each.

I’ve had the same question about how to handle my work projects for my personal projects. I’ve debated on whether or not to just create a separate vault and build the robot assistant system in there as well so that I can toggle between personal and work. others may have a better solution thanks for bringing up this great question

I am struggling with this a bit as well but wrote it off to just being new. I have gmail accounts for work and others for personal and can’t figure out how to have it read cal/email/drive for both of these. As a result I am just using the work account for google stuff and then trying to drive other personal stuff through couture control but that is super slow and clunky.

I think I’ve got this working pretty well. I separate work and personal vaults. Each has its own CLAUDE file and skills. When I start Claude Desktop, I use the projects feature to pick which vault to work in. I’ve been doing this for a couple of weeks now and it seems to be working. There’s no leaking between the projects. Neither one interacts with the other.

I don’t think you need two accounts. Just point Cowork at the folders you want it to use. Divide those up as you wish.

I spoke with my manager about this
I said, you want me using AI. The company wants me to use AI. High leadership tells us at every meeting to feel free to use AI for everything, you all have high token limits, and if you ever hit them just ask and we will raise them.
I told my manager, In that case I’m going to start using AI for work and personal things. I’m going to use my work login to do both work and personal things. Any personal things I do with AI will be part of teaching me what it can do and how to do it.
My manager was okay with this plan.
When I ran out of tokens one month, I asked for more the person who gives out more tokens saw that I was sharing lots of stories about what I was working on, and how I did those things. He raised my limit and thanked me for working in the open. He said it’s easy for him to give out more tokens when he sees proof of good work like that.
