Turn off all notifications on Mac

hello guys,
i’m mario from germany.

I’m a musician and I often use the forScore app to read and edit notation on Mac and iPad. I use a Bluetooth foot pedal to turn pages. But I have a problem on my Mac. Even though I turn on focus mode and shouldn’t see any notification, it still happens with some apps all the time. I can’t find a way to turn it off either. That’s when you’re playing it’s really annoying when suddenly another window opens in front of the notes and I can’t see the notes anymore. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks very much!

Have you tried switching on the ‘Do Not Disturb’ mode? That only allows notifications from apps you specify.

It is a shame thata one cannot switch off all notifications with one click.

One of the first actions I perform on a new Mac is :green_apple: > System Preferences > Notifications & Focus and there turn off notifications cor every app either by turning switching off Allow Notifications or by selecting None as the style for notifications. A few I re-enabled at the moment that is only for Reminders. Tedous to do but it really only needs to be done once.

It might be worth using the Focus panel there and removing any apps that you find there.

Disabling everything manually would have been my next step, but I thought there was an easier way…

Yes I tried that but some apps still send notification. I don’t know how or why they do it anyway. One of them is iMazing.
