 TV: Shortcut to iTunes server content?

Hi all,

Currently, I have to do the same steps every day, sometimes multiple times a day on my Apple TV:
Computer → My Media → More → Home Videos → Playlists → Kids Playlist → start first video.

Is there a way to jump to this location right from the home screen with a widget or shortcut?

These are toddler music videos I have stored under Home Videos in iTunes on a Mac mini that runs as a server in my house.
My Apple TV is the latest one (3rd gen 4K, new remote) and runs on the latest tvOS (17.3).

You could try installing Plex server on your Mac Mini and then use the Plex app on AppleTV. Plex should give you the option to organize your library in a simpler hierarchy.

Have a look at Infuse. It’s an App which can (I believe) connect straight to a fileshare
