Hi,
I had to connect a Samsung Odyssey G95C ultra wide display to a new Mac mini.
No matter what I try the images are all stretched out no matter what resolution I try I can’t get the icons back in shape.
Any suggestions?
Is the screen in general stretched?
If you open a PDF is the text similarly stretched?
Does the resolution you’ve set match the maximum resolution of the monitor?
I tried all resolutions some look less worse than others.
All images are stretched wide 
Set the resolution to the one supported by your Monitor. A quick search suggests that this is 5,120 x 1,440. If your Mac doesn’t offer this as a supported resolution, it probably won’t support the monitor.
