Hello Everyone,
I see monitors are a heavy topic of conversation around here so I figured I would throw out my particular issue and see if anyone has any suggestions.
My primary computer is an iPad Pro 11” and I just recently purchased a 2018 MacBook Air for my wife. I’d like to get a nice 4K monitor that both of us can use in the office (USB-C is a must).
I know the LG Ultra Fine 4K is out there, but its pretty expensive and its currently back ordered until the end of March on the Apple Store. My wife does some light design work with Illustrator CC and Photoshop CC. Does anyone have any suggestions for a monitor that could work for us?
Thanks for the help!

What do you mean when you say USB-C is a must? I ask because I connect my iPad Pro and MBP with a USB-C-to-DisplayPort cable and if you are okay with that, there are some good options available.
I guess I should clarify - No thunderbolt because I would like to hook my iPad up to it. Going through an adapter to display port isn’t ideal, but its fine.
I have the same question. I would add that I would prefer USB-C because I would like to charge my iPad whil it is connected to the monitor. As an added question, are there any monitors that are close to the same screen ratio as the 11” iPad Pro?
Here’s one I’ve been considering: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236808&Description=4K%20usb-c%20monitor&cm_re=4K_usb-c_monitor--24-236-808--Product
Update: the aspect ratio seems to be a lost cause. But here’s a good bit of info on 4K monitors: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/best/by-resolution/4k-ultra-hd-uhd
